Avenue Road is a beautiful, quiet tree-lined road close to Acton Town underground. Properties along the avenue are mostly terraced Victorian houses which has been well looked after by the residents of the popular road. These three to four bedroom homes are mostly owner occupied, with the exception of a few conversion flats which have been converted with great care. All the properties benefit from well-manicured front gardens, and they’re nestled within the heart of the Mill Hill Conversation Area with some blue plaque houses, giving the road wonderful appeal.
Residents are just a two minute walk to Acton Town Tube which is on the Piccadilly and District line, plus there are also regular bus route to all local destinations located on Gunnersbury Lane or Acton Lane. There is parking along the road with plenty of bays for permit holders Monday to Friday.
This ever improving and thriving neighbourhood is a hotspot for families, couples and young professionals, and it’s located close to Acton Town, Chiswick and the High Street for convenience. There’s also a brilliant park nearby called Gunnersbury Park, which offers a café, golf and football pitches.
Avenue Road also benefits from being within close proximity to Mill Hill Park, which is a famous park conservation area in Ealing. Lush green trees border the estate roads, resembling a French rural style.
The London Museum of Transport is also a nearby point of interest, with Acton High School and Acton College also close.
