Heathfield Road is one of three roads that make up the once famous Mill Hill Park Estate. The now conservation area – which in the past was owned by Richard White, Co-Founder of the law society - still has the white stone walls from the early 1800s, which were the boarders of his once great land and house. Forming part of sub-area 2 in the Mill hill conservation area, the tree lined street’s main appeal is its peaceful atmosphere, and property here is mainly large houses set back behind sweeping driveways or front gardens. The street offers a wonderful blend of white stone couples with red brick, stucco or terracotta mouldings and decorative elements, slated or tiled roofs with some timber embellishments for porches or gables, and a mix of casement or sash windows. Some of the homes here have remained as houses, but many are now converted into flats, using the wide plots to give the occupants maximum space.
Despite enjoying the tranquil atmosphere of a suburban residential area, occupants are just a short walk to Acton Town Tube and have a quick route to the A40/M4. Getting to Acton Town centre is simple as Hammersmith and Chiswick are just one tube stop away, making the daily commute a stress-free task.
You won’t just benefit from an easy commute; there are two great primary schools close by – The sought-after Ark Priory and the ever-popular Berrymede Primary School. Acton College and Acton High School are only a short walk too, making this area highly popular with families. Residents benefit from fantastic green spaces, with Gunnersbury Park and Mill Hill Gardens nearby. This recreational space is packed with history and an ideal as place to unwind.
Heathfield Road has fantastic transport links, Acton Town centre’s amenities close, and lovely green spaces, making it the perfect place for families and young couples looking to start their family.
