Resting on the borders of Bedford Park, Meon Road is in an area of Acton that is looking forward to much upcoming growth in the near future. This quiet residential road that boats a suburban feel, is made up of period terraced houses and appeals to both Chiswick and Acton buyers.
South Acton is an area that has been the source of much regeneration, as the former council estate is in the process of being substituted with the new build development known as Acton Gardens. Due to this reason, the area attracts numerous investors. As a result of this, some of these houses have been converted into flats.
This area is also great for first time buyers, young professionals and families. All can enjoy the green spaces that are within walking distance to the property-either Southfields Park, South Acton Park, or even Acton Park.
Those requiring public transport are also within close proximity to the over ground stations of Acton Central and South Acton and the Underground station of Acton Town. A bus from the Vale would lead the commuter into Shepherds Bush or Hammersmith, with all they have to offer.
Acton High Street and the Charming Churchfield Road are also nearby, for a morning coffee at The Coffee House, a shop at Morrisons, a drink at Viniesta, or a swim at the local swimming pool. If residents walk in the opposite direction, they can take advantage of charming Chiswick, with the delightful food offered by the High Road Brasserie, the walk along the river, a snack at Gails or afters at Outsider Tart.
Meon Road, although not lengthy, is one of the most charming roads in Acton.
