Eckstein Road is a very popular, tree lined road in a fantastic location. It consists of residential properties, mostly large Victorian houses which spread over three to four floors. Some of these beautiful houses have been carefully converted into three flats, keeping the original period features such as high ceilings, original fire places and large bay windows.
The location is more than ideal; residents have easy access to three shopping streets, St Johns Road, Northcote road and Lavender hill.
Eckstein Road leads onto St Johns Road which is where a number of retail shops are located including; TK Maxx, Blacks, and Superdrug. There is also a Waitrose and Marks and Spencer's for your food shopping.
Five minute away is Northcote road which is popular for its independent coffee shops, buzzing bars and popular restaurants.
Five minutes away in the other direction is where Lavender Hill is located which is where the local gyms, a large supermarket and the department store, Debenhams is located.
Making the location even more ideal for those who commute, Clapham Junction station is only a couple of minutes’ walk away. There are direct links to stations such as Waterloo and Victoria and train links out of London including Gatwick Airport. There are also a choice of different bus routes and a Santander bike hire on the road.
As for the parking, residents do not have to worry about spaces as it is for permit holders Monday – Saturday 8.30am – 6.30pm or a ticket can be bought for a maximum of 2 hours.
Eckstein Road is an excellent position, tucked far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to an array of shops, restaurants, bars, good schools and transport links. It is popular with both owner occupiers and tenants alike.
