Lavender Gardens in Battersea is a street full of traditional, well kept, stunning terraced houses. Along this picturesque, quiet street there are a great selection of homes, ranging from one bedrooms all the way through to five bedroom houses depending on your need. These traditional homes have mainly still retained their traditional features such as wooden floors, high ceilings and stunning fireplaces. Along the street is safe, well-lit street parking for those whom require a car. This is permit parking which means commuters cannot park on the street and spaces are left for residents.
This area is a mixture of young professionals and families which ensures a friendly and quiet neighbourhood. With its' location so close to the wide open space of the common this area attracts keen runners and cyclists whilst also attracting those who are interested in the some of summer activities on the Common which include various music events and food pop ups.
The area is great for families due to the abundance of schools on the doorstep, as well as one of London’s most highly regarded private schools, Emanuel. Also on surrounding the area are many different tube stations, such as Clapham South which requires a short walk through the park to reach it.
For young professionals the street is also perfectly located. Lavender Gardens, much like the majority of the area, is surrounded by numerous bars and restaurants, all of the doorstep.
