As we are well into the first week of spring we once again turn our attention to our yield map where we have done the work for you on a few of the hotspots throughout London! Read on to see where we've pick out this month.
Stamford Hill 4%
Stamford Hill is located in the borough of Hackney and neighbours Stoke Newington. It is a quiet area, so offers a community feel, yet is not too far from the city. Unlike other properties in London, the ones in Stamford Hill are larger with gardens, this is what characterises the area. Not many of the larger homes have been broken down into apartments yet but as the area develops and becomes a more popular spot to invest in smaller, newer homes will come to market. There is no tube station in Stamford Hill but the bus system in the area is sufficient as tubes can be reached in neighbouring towns.
South Croydon 4.4%
South Croydon is positioned perfectly for commuters with a 19 minute train taking you straight into London Bridge. As Croydon grows in popularity so do its amenities. Rumours of a Westfield for Croydon are set to land in the next five years which will bring more money with increased tourism in the area. Property prices are still relatively low for a London town therefore making it a popular place to invest in.
West Ham 4.9%
An area dominated by premier league football team West Ham! West Ham has great transport links and is a definite commuters hub. With Victorian houses and terraces the area is set for continued development. There are plenty of open green spaces in West Ham and the Olympic park facilities are nearby which saw plenty of regeneration in the area, which has encouraged more people to look to invest here.
Hounslow in West London, neighbours Twickenham and Heathrow Airport, making the area popular for those who may travel abroad frequently for work. There is plenty of development happening in the area, with a buzzing town centre and the familiar high street shops it is popular for families looking to get slightly more for their money in the area in terms of properties with gardens and extra room.
