Best Rental Yield Areas In London This October

Offering really strong rental yields, these four areas are just some of the emerging spots where it may be good to invest right now.

North

5.3% Chingford

Up in the popular Waltham Forest area, Chingford is a great place to buy right now. With property prices having risen quite significantly in the past few years in nearby Walthamstow, Chingford offers cheaper property but the same ease of travel into London, the same amount of amenities and good schools, parks and facilities to residents. If you’re looking to get more for your money, this is a great place to invest in a bigger, family home and you can expect property prices to go up in the coming years.

4.9% Croydon

Croydon offers a great location to those wanting to live in a commutable distance from London, whilst being able to head out of London just as easily on the road network available here. The area itself offers a huge number of amenities and a quiet, more suburban area in which to reside, making it popular with renters.

An affluent area of West London, Chiswick is an industry hub and therefore offers plenty of amenities and eateries in the local area. With the emergence of the industry hub here, there is a need for housing and with so much to offer residents in the way of things to do and transport links, it’s no surprise that the area is popular with those looking to rent within London and this is therefore a great place to invest.

5.3% Seven Kings

Just last week it was confirmed by Redbridge Council that £7m investment in Ilford has been given the green light. Due to the Crossrail moving to the area and its suitability to family living, this is a sought-after location with a lot of demand.
