What makes a Preferred Contractor?
All our Preferred Contractors have to complete an initial trial period before we take them on. If successful, they'll then sign a contract agreeing to work to our high standards of safety, quality and customer service.
By signing the contract, the Contractor agrees to:
- Perform services with the best care, skill and diligence in accordance with best practice
- Conduct themselves in a respectable and professional manner
- Remove any rubbish and leave the site clean and tidy
- Obtain all necessary licences and consents and comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Obtain and comply with all the accreditations and standards required by the industry in which they operate
- Observe all health and safety rules and regulations
Certificates & documentation
The Contractor also agrees to present certificates or relevant documentation in relation to any relevant qualifications or memberships of approved bodies that are necessary to their trade. This includes public liability insurance, Employers liability, membership to Governing bodies, specific qualifications and Gas Safe Membership (where applicable).
Best value & service for our clients
If the Contractor doesn’t provide a service in accordance with our contract, we require them to carry out additional work to correct the failure - including rectifying any damages as a result of their failure. In other words, you can rest assured that they will get the work done to a high standard.
