Bloomsbury Art Fair comes to town

July 5, 2012

Having attracted over 3,000 visitors and raised over £60,000 for charity at its debut, the Bloomsbury Art Fair is planning another extravaganza to appeal to first time buyers or serious art collectors.

The second Bloomsbury Art Fair runs from 6 - 8 July at Goodenough College, Mecklenburgh Square, opening with a preview on 4 July and the Midsummer Party in aid of charities on 5 July.

All works are for sale and visitors can purchase affordable and investment pieces in the beautiful surroundings of Goodenough College. For those who can't make up their mind and would like more time to think about their purchase, re-entry is free on subsequent days so visitors can return any time.

The fair will feature a collection of painting and drawing, photography, print and sculpture with all profits going to the three chosen charities, which support people who have suffered from a catastrophic, life-changing injury.

"Bloomsbury is rightly proud of its Art Fair and the money that it raises for these very worthy charities," says Wesley Ellis, manager at the Bloomsbury branch of lettings agent Edmund Cude. "It also encourages more people to visit this very lovely part of London from around the UK and rest of the world."
