Slumber party at the British Museum

November 13, 2012

How about this for a sleepover with a difference? The British Museum is offering children and their parents a fantastic opportunity to discover the Museum at night.

On December 1st young explorers and their adult will get a chance to discover more about the permanent collection. Listen to Greek tales and create arts and crafts pieces based on the extensive permanent collection as well as complete a Quest of the Gods trail - based on Usborne's exciting new series - in the Egyptian galleries before the Museum opens to the general public.

Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis for the sleepover which is from 6.15 pm to 9am. Tickets cost from £32.50.

“The British Museum is just one of the important and fascinating museums we have in Bloomsbury,” says Wesley Ellis, manager at the Bloomsbury branch of lettings agent Edmund Cude. “What a fantastic experience this is to explore at night one of the most impressive buildings in the UK.”
