Victoria Rise has lots of elegant property to match its elegant name - most of which was built in the Victorian era. It also houses a large number of council owned flats, which until recently were not as pleasing to the eye as their older Victorian neighbours. Thankfully the local council has undergone a huge overhaul on their buildings, with newly rendered facades and a more contemporary look. The road itself is 0.4 miles long and connects Clapham Common to Lavender Hill. To the southern end of the road is No.2 Victoria Rise, a grand an imposing detached Victorian House.
