Aldensley Road is a very popular, tree lined road located in the heart of Brackenbury Village. It mainly consists of residential properties although it also holds some of the area’s most well-known local businesses. The residential properties are typically the pretty period buildings that are commonly associated with Brackenbury Village, having many original period features such as large bay windows and high ceilings. Some have been converted in to flats but many still remain as full family houses.
The location is fantastic; residents can enjoy the buzz of village life and greenery of the local parks but still have the benefit of great transport links to the city within easy walking distance. The nearest tube station is Ravenscourt Park which has access to the District line. However, Hammersmith Broadway is also within easy reach and has access to the Piccadilly, District, Central and Hammersmith & City Lines. For car owners, there is ample parking on the road for permit holders and a pay and display option for visitors.
Aldensley Road is home to The Andover Arms, a well-liked pub that serves both food and drink and has been rated a very respectable 4.5 out of 5 on Trip Advisor, it also hosts a quiz night every Sunday which is very popular amongst the local residents. As well as the local pub, there is Stenton’s butchers and Brackenbury Delicatessens, both of which are long standing and very popular within the community.
Aldensley Road is a great place to live, tucked far enough away from busier roads but close enough to good schools, quaint family run businesses and great local pubs. Popular with both owner occupiers and tenants, any property situated on the road would be an ideal family home, first home or buy-to-let investment.
