Biscay Road is a delightful street full of traditional period properties. Many are painted in fashionable heritage colours with pretty window shutters and well maintained flower boxes sat upon the big bay windowsills. The properties are set over three floors: the basement, ground and first, although many owners have carried out loft conversions to add space to already generously sized properties. There have been some thoughtful conversions into flats along the road, though many still remain as full houses.
The location is fantastic, set just off Fulham Palace Road. Biscay Road is an easy walk to Hammersmith Broadway station which has access to the Circle, District, Piccadilly and Hammersmith and City Lines, as well as the bus station which operates 24 hours. For car users, there is easy access to the A4 which leads out to Heathrow Airport and the M4/M25, and also leads into central London. Parking operates on a resident permit or pay and display basis and there are ample spaces along the Biscay Road itself.
Along with the great transport links, Biscay Road is also a short walk away from the Thames and traditional riverside pubs. Fulham Palace Road hosts many shops, bars and restaurants, including the Distillers. This is a very popular pub for both food and drinks but it is probably most famous for its stylish beer garden which has beach huts housing tables for when the British summer lets us down, and fire pits to keep you warm when it starts to get a little chilly!
The area is very popular with both families and young professionals. The great transport links and close proximity to the river make it attractive for both owner occupiers and tenants, meaning Biscay Road is a great place for first homes, family dwellings and buy to let to let investments. With great amenities and its pretty houses and converted flats, Biscay Road is a delightful place to live.
