Following the result of the EU referendum, we were expecting to see a lull in sales but despite the initial hysteria and hesitation, the market has remained strong. As always, price is very competitive, but there are currently high level of sales applicants actively looking to make a purchase now in order to complete by Christmas.
The lettings market is as competitive as ever, but with the busy summer months coming to an end, it's important for landlords to be realistic in their expectations and price accordingly to meet the decreasing demand. That said, applicant levels are still healthy for the time being so if you are looking to let your property, don't wait!
It feels like Hammersmith changes on a day to day basis with one new development after the next! Sovereign Court is well underway and the Kings Mall car park has been demolished to make way for the next phase. There have also been a number of new developments and regeneration projects in the town centre which are transforming the look of King Street. As well as the residential developments, there have been a number of new shops and restaurants popping up including the much anticipated Honest Burger at the top of Fulham Palace Road.
With Hammersmith changing every day for the better, we expect demand from both buyers and tenants to strengthen.
