Graham Street is a residential road located parallel to City Road Basin and usefully nearby to City Road itself. The buildings along here are mainly new developments or purpose built and are presented in excellent condition. There are a few warehouse conversions that have been changed into stylish apartments, and with the development of the Lexicon Building at the end of the street the area will go from strength to strength over the years.
Most of the road offers parking for residents who have applied for a permit, but there are various pay and display options along the road too. With the high amount of new developments a lot of the properties here come with secure parking. Angel Tube station is just a 4 minute walk from the street, so most residents use the Northern line on the London Underground for their commute. With City Road at the end of the street there are also a number of bus routes operated by London buses. Old Street is a 7 minute walk adding to the convenient local area.
With a lovely green play park there it comes as no surprise that the area is full of young families. Students also live in the area as City University and Cass Business School are both a short stroll away, with Liberty Hall accommodation on Graham Street itself. The overhaul of the City Road Basin has seen sleek apartments dominate the skyline, meaning the area will undoubtedly have an influx of young professionals, couples and investors in no time.
Being in such a central location, and with Islington High Street and Upper Street only a few minutes’ walk away, there is access to countless bars and restaurants, along with local amenities such as supermarkets and convenience stores. On the parallel street, City Garden Row, there is a Co-Operative that is open 24 hours, providing yet more convenience for this prime location.
