Huntingdon Street is a lovely tree-lined road set between Hemingford Road and Caledonian Road. The street mainly comprises converted terraced houses, which now play host to a number of stylish flats. Many of the residents here are young professionals - both singles and couples - although plenty of families who own their home still occupy the houses which have not been converted.
Highbury and Islington station sits on the Victoria Line and is a 6 minute walk to the east. You can also be in Piccadilly Circus within 15 minutes from Caledonian Road Tube station, which is about an 8 minute walk to the north. London bus routes 17, 91, 259, 274 and N91 offer links to London Bridge, Whitehall, Angel and King's Cross.
Ideally located along a no-through road in Islington, in the popular area of Caledonian and Barnsbury, Huntingdon Street backs on to London's smallest local nature reserve, Barnsbury Wood. The amenities of Caledonian Road are on the doorstep, offering residents plenty of variety with their choice of shopping. Here you will find family run food markets with displays of colourful exotic fruit, vegetables and herbs. Along Offord Road you will find the local pub, the wisteria covered Hemingford Arms, where you can order yourself a delicious Thai curry.
This is an excellent part of north London to live in, with a great network of transport links across the capital and a wide variety of people who live here, including students, professionals and families.
