Located Just off of Richmond Avenue, this hidden gem consists solely of Victorian terraced houses which shape to form a crescent. Around half of the properties here have been converted into separate apartments with a shared communal garden which is great for those summer BBQ’s or if you love gardening.
This area of Islington is home to some of the most expensive properties in the borough, this is due to its prime location, the average price for the properties here are in excess of £800k. It sits half way between Kings Cross and Angel, as a result of this, getting around London has never been easier. Street parking is available on either sides of the road so being able to park your car should not be a problem. It’s a great place to live if you love to keep fit, Caledonian road is only a two minute walk away where you will find Cally Pool; available here are two pools, a gym and a sauna that has recently been refurbished to an incredible standard.
Angel Tube Station is about a 10 minute walk from Richmond Crescent while Kings Cross is around a 15 minute commute on foot. Caledonian Road has incredible transport connections to all over London, with there being an overground station, an underground station and around 10 bus stops on both sides it’s very easy to get around.
There are also two large green spaces within a 5 minute walk from Richmond Crescent, Barnard Park and Thornhill Park. These parks are popular for taking children to play, to walk the dog or to just meet for a sit down amongst the beautifully landscaped gardens. Overall this area is a lovely place to live, it’s quiet yet not too far from the main attractions that Islington has to offer.
