Tyndale Terrace is a quiet no through road set back behind Upper Street in Islington. Given that this is a small street there is only a small selection of properties here, although the gated Spencer Place development at the end of the road provides a large number of accommodation. Most of the houses here have been converted and now feature a range of studios, one bedroom and two bedroom flats. There are however a handful of houses that remain unchanged which play host to families looking to be in the Canonbury area of Islington. The Georgian terraces running one side of the street and mews houses line the other giving it a typical Islington feel.

Families like the location as it is extremely close to the William Tyndale Primary School which consistently ranks as ‘Outstanding’ in the Ofsted rankings, although the studio and one bedroom apartments work well for single professionals and couples too.

Upper Street runs parallel to Tynedale Terrace which means there is easy access to all the necessary local amenities. If you fancy a glass of wine in a boutique bar you are spoilt for options, or if you are after a more chilled evening with your friends Slim Jims has a ‘no work clothing’ policy. Residents enjoy the variety of restaurants which line the street, whether you fancy Italian, Turkish, Indian or a juicy burger – there’s something for everyone.
