Bryon Road is wonderfully located in the highly sought after Poets Corner area – which is a small selection of road that are named after some of our finest writers – in this case George Gordon BYRON.
The road is sandwiched between all that Walthamstow Central has to offer in one direction with the tranquillity of Lloyd Park and the William Morris Gallery in the other direction.
The house is located less than 0.5 miles for four Primary schools which are all rated as either GOOD or OUTSTANDING by Ofsted.
Take a short stroll along Hoe Street to Walthamstow Central which offers Victoria line and Overground services, as well as the night Tube at the weekends. Walthamstow Mall offers a range of high street brands and supermarkets, Walthamstow market is still believed to be the longest Street market in Europe and there is also a Farmer market on a Sunday morning – offering lovely fresh seasonal Produce.
To top it off there is also a brand new cinema complex with a range of popular eateries such as pizza Express and Nandos. Whilst the old EMD cinema located just around the corner has been converted into a trendy pop up bar.
Or in the other direction you’ll find Lloyd Park, the former home of William Morris who is arguably one of Walthamstow’s most famous former residents and he was in fact born and grew up in Walthamstow having lived in Water House as his childhood home. This is now the wonderful William Morris gallery and the grounds now form the wide open expanse that is Lloyd Park.
The park is ideal for tranquil walks or feed the ducks that reside on its lakes (as long as its not bread). Or attend one of the many free events that take place in the park throughout the year.
