Brettenham Road is perfectly positioned in the Heart of the highly desired Lloyd Park Area of Walthamstow. This lovely Ex Warner flat is located on the ground floor and benefits from having a double bedroom and a bright lounge.
What is an 'Ex Warner' I hear you ask?
Warner” properties were built in the borough from the late nineteenth century until the mid-twentieth century. They were built by T. C. T. Warner, one of the largest landowners in Walthamstow, many of the properties built by the Warner company, often bear the mark 'W' and are notable for the quality of their workmanship and are in distinctive styles, often in bold red brick, with gables, recessed porches, and tiled roofs. It is also believed that many of the roads are named after members of the Warner family.
Lloyd Park is located just a short stroll away.
William Morris is arguably one of Walthamstow’s most famous residents and he was in fact born and grew up in Walthamstow having lived in Water House as his childhood home. This is now the wonderful William Morris gallery and the grounds now form the wide open expanse that is Lloyd Park.
The park is ideal for tranquil walks or feed the ducks that reside on its lakes (as long as its not bread). Or attend one of the many free events that take place in the park throughout the year.
Walthamstow Central is about a 10 minute walk away, offering Victoria line and Overground services, as well as the night Tube at the weekends. Walthamstow Mall offers a range of high street brands and supermarkets, Walthamstow market is still believed to be the longest Street market in Europe and there is also a Farmer market on a Sunday morning – offering lovely fresh seasonal Produce.
To top it off there is also a brand new cinema complex with a range of popular eateries such as pizza Express and Nandos. Whilst the old EMD cinema located just around the corner has been converted into a trendy pop up bar
