Home to some of the England’s finest golf courses, large green areas and Alan Sugar’s footballer hotspot ‘Sheesh’, Chigwell has something for everyone. Only 45 minutes from the centre of London via the Central Line Underground Station, Chigwell is an ideal location for commuters. Just 25 minutes away is the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Westfield Shopping Centre, home to over 200 shops and restaurants.

Known for its vast green areas and open spaces, Chigwell is great in the summer to make the most of the English sun! Golf is a big part of Chigwell and Hainault Golf Course has played host to plenty of celebrities and professional golfers in its time. For the less experienced golfers and families, Chigwell’s crazy golf course is a great day out.

Once a year Chigwell hosts the infamous ‘Tour de Essex’, a large cycle event that brings everyone in the community out into the streets and pubs for what is always a great occasion. With regards to the pubs, Chigwell certainly won’t disappoint. The local favourite is the King William pub, a bright, traditional gastropub with a large open terrace.
