In the heart of North London sits Highbury. It is most famously known for its historic football ground that is now purpose built flats within the original Grade II Listed stands. Arsenal Football Club moved just up the road, though, into their new state of the art stadium.

There’s much more to this area than football, though. During the summer months, Highbury is a great place to be. With plenty of open green space, in the form of Highbury Fields, you can while away many an afternoon here. With Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium just up the road, the place is buzzing come match day. Should you be able to get tickets, you will be sure to have a great time. Aside from Football, the area plays host to some great pubs and restaurants. Situated here is one of London’s oldest Georgian Restaurants ‘Tblisi’ which is a very popular hang out for locals and those visiting the area.

If you want to get out of Highbury and into the heart of London, then don’t worry. With Highbury and Islington Underground Station nearby, links to Central London couldn’t be easier and within 15 minutes you can be in Trafalgar Square. Highbury has become a great place for short term let stays, for people wanting great links to Central London without being in the chaos of city life.
