8 miles east of the centre of London sits Ilford. With great connections to some of London’s most popular places and plenty of green space to enjoy, Ilford is one of East London’s great locations. Open spaces include the popular Wanstead Flats and Valentines Park where you can sit by the lakes and enjoy the English summer sun. As well as this, Ilford has its very own golf course.

Due to its location Ilford has become a great location for short term let stays as it’s commutable into London whilst situated out in Essex, making it easy to get out of the city too. The closest hotspot is Stratford which played host to London’s 2012 Olympic Games and is home to Westfield Shopping Centre. Should you want to get out of East London, then Trafalgar Square is only 40-minutes away, and once you are there, there is of course endless things to do.

For landlords or those who travel often, being an Airbnb Host is a great way to earn a little extra money, especially over the summer, on your empty property.
