The Royal Docks sits on the eastern fringes of London. It comprises three docks; the Royal Albert Dock, the Royal Victoria Dock and King George V Dock. Sadly, the docks were heavily attacked during the Second World War and reached the peak of their activity in the 1960s and in the 1980s, the Royal Docks became derelict.
