Description
This beautiful 1 bedroom apartment is finished to an immaculate standard and is perfect for first time buyers wanting to move to the increasingly popular Walthamstow area.
The Property
Spacious open plan living room/kitchen. This space allows for an abundance of natural light coming from the floor to ceiling windows and balcony door which is fitted with bespoke shutters. From here you also have access to a balcony, which makes for a great space to entertain guests. Kitchen is complete with high spec appliances and plenty of cupboard space.
The bedroom continues the contemporary design and includes a built in wardrobe while also offering a generous amount of space for additional furniture.
The three piece family bathroom benefits from a large mirror, heated towel rail and full size bath.
The Location
Malt Court is part of the Essex Brewery which was built just two years ago and quickly became one of Walthamstow's most sought after developments mainly down to the exceptional build quality and low service charges. There is a lift that services each floor, secure bike storage and shared gardens to the rear. The location is great as it's only just over half a mile to Blackhorse Road underground station giving easy access to the Vitoria Line and just 5 minutes from St. James Street which will get you into London Liverpool Street in around 15 minutes.
A word from the owner
Farrow and Ball paint in the lounge and hallway. Hillary's sliding shutters to the lounge and bedroom, which gives a blackout effect and also privacy on the ground floor. Amtico flooring (very durable!)
A perfect home for working in the city, it is a great place to live due to the transport links into the city, but also the local area. It is such a vibrant place with lots to do, we have enjoyed many walks in the wetlands and marshes! Walthamstow is definitely the place to be currently, loads of lovely independent shops, restaurants and bars - a great community feel here...doesn't feel like London!
Very active residents WhatsApp group...a great community feel here. Lots of events organised for residents to get to know each other, usually held at Crate or the Curious Goat!; Service Charge: 1300 pa; Ground Rent: 300 pa
